PURPOSE: Provided is a system for purifying landfill leachate using a series of devices, thereby discharging clean water which is biologically and chemically purified and storing sludge in a sludge thickening tank. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a screen (110) for separating solids from leachate, a water tank (100) for adjusting treatment capability of leachate by a bypass (130) and transferring the leachate to a distribution tank (200) using a pump (120), a chemical tank (300) for coagulating sludge in the leachate using chemicals such as aluminium sulfate, iron chloride, and polymer, a sedimentation tank (500) for separating the leachate into decant water and sludge and transferring the decant water and sludge to an ozone treatment tank (600) and a sludge thickening tank (400), respectively, an ozone oxidizing apparatus (700) for biologically decomposing nondegradable material in the decant water, an aeration tank (800) with media (810) and a submerged membrane (820) for further separating sludge, and a reverse osmosis membrane (900) for purifying the water treated by the aeration tank (800).
