DEVICE FOR CLEANING SENSOR OF INK JET PRINTER

PURPOSE: A device for cleaning a sensor of an ink jet printer is provided to clean scattered ink on the surface of a sensing part of the sensor, thereby preventing a sensing error in printing. CONSTITUTION: An ink jet printer has a sensor(30) for automatically sensing arrangement and width of paper installed on one side of a carrier assembly(10). A plurality of sensor wipers(112) cleans the surface of a sensing part of the sensor for automatically sensing arrangement and width of paper. A wiper rotating tube(110) is rotatively installed at frames(15) under the surface of the sensing part to install the sensor wipers thereon. When the carrier assembly is moved to place the sensor for automatically sensing arrangement and width of paper over the sensor wipers, the wiper rotating tube rotates to clean the surface of the sensing part.
