A gun suitable for spraying paint is provided with an inner tube 5 for receiving paint under pressure from a conduit 1, an outer passage 14 for receiving heated compressed air which sprays the paint through an orifice 6, and an air heating chamber 8 which contains an electrical resistance heater 9 and communicates with the passage 14 via perforations 11a in walls 11 and passages 12 and 13. The paint from the conduit I reaches the tube 5 through channels 2, 3 and a further passage 4 and is heated in transit. |
