发明名称 Procédé de préparation de dispersions aqueuses de produits de polymérisation greffée
摘要 Graft polymers comprise from 1 to 99% by weight of the graft polymer of (1) an ethylenically unsaturated copolymer having a molecular weight above 400 and resulting from the copolymerization of an alkylene oxide and an epoxide compound having a carbon-carbon double bond, and (2) at least one monomer of the general formula: <FORM:0971226/C3/1> in which X is a hydrogen or chlorine atom or a carboxylic acid or ester group, Y is a hydrogen or chlorine atom or a lower alkyl, cyclohexyl or aryl group and Z is a hydrogen or chlorine atom or a lower alkyl, carboxylic acid or amide, aldehyde, cyano, ester, hydroxyl, alkoxy, alkylamino, hydroxyalkyl, alkyl ether, alkyl aryl ether, olefinic hydrocarbon, olefinic chlorohydrocarbon, phenyl, phenyl vinyl, chlorophenyl, alkylphenyl, cyclohexyl, arylsulphonate, carboxylic acid amide, substituted on the nitrogen atom, sulphonic acid, sulphochloride or carbo-(di-acrylyl) substituted triazine styrene sulphonamide or styrene sulphonic acid group, or is a group of the formula: <FORM:0971226/C3/2> in which n is 2, 3 or 4 and Q is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl radical and Hal is a halogen atom. Preferred classes of monomers are acrylic and methacrylic acids esters, amides and nitriles, vinyl ethers, vinyl esters, vinyl aromatic and heterocylic compounds, diolefines, vinyl halides, unsaturated aldehydes, and unsaturated dicarboxylic acids and derivatives thereof. The graft polymers are prepared by polymerizing the monomers and ethylenically unsaturated copolymers in aqueous dispersion in the presence of a non-ionic emulsifier and a free-radical initiator. The resulting dispersions are used in coating applications and, when derived from monomers containing reactive groups, e.g. methylol ether groups, coatings produced therefrom may be cured by heating. The examples describe the preparation of graft polymers from the following monomer/polymer mixtures: (1) acrylamide, butyl acrylate, styrene/ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (2) acrylamide, methyl methylol ether of methacrylamide/ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (3) ethyl acrylate, vinyl acetate, styrene, acrylamide, methyl methylol ether of methacrylamide/ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (4) butyl acrylate, allyl methylol ether of acrylamide/ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (5) butyl acrylate, acrylamide, butyl methylol ether of methacrylamide/ethylene oxide-styrene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (6) methyl methacrylate, sentyre, methyl methylol ether of acrylamide/ ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (7) butyl acrylate, styrene, acrylamide, betasulphatoethyl acrylamide/ethylene oxide-styrene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (8) butyl acrylate, styrene, acrylamide, methyl methylol ether of methacrylamide/ethylene oxide-propylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (9) butyl acrylate, styrene, methacrylamide the Mannich base derived from methacrylamide, formaldehyde and dimethylamine/ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (10) butyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, styrene, methyl methylol ether of methacrylamide/ethylene oxide-tetrahydrofuran copolymer; (11) ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, styrene, beta-sulphatoethyl methacrylamide, acrylamide/ ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (12) methyl acrylate, styrene, methacrylamide, dibeta-chloroethyl acrylamide/ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (13) vinyl acetate, propyl methacrylate, styrene, allyl methylol ether of methacrylamide, acrylamide/ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (14) styrene, acrylonitrile, butyl methylol ether of acrylamide/ propylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether-tetrahydrofuran copolymer; (15) butadiene, methacrylamide, divinyl benzene, methyl methylol ether of methacrylamide/ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (16) butyl acrylate, styrene, acrylamide, methyl methylol ether of methacrylamide/ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer; (17) butyl acrylate, styrene, methyl methylol ether of methacrylamide/ethylene oxide-allyl glycidyl ether copolymer.
