Two fixing devices for the product (40, 41, 43) being cut can be moved along parallel paths through the input, processing and output regions and are designed to hold together the product being cut whilst it is in the cutting device. A laser cutting device for sheet material includes an input region (50), a processing region (60), an output region (70), and comprises a first fixing device (20) for a first product, a second fixing device (30) for a second product and a laser cutting head movable in a direction essentially transverse to the first path along which the first fixing device can be moved. The second fixing device can be moved along a second path parallel to the first path, both of these paths extending through the input, processing and output regions. The two fixing devices are designed to hold together the product being cut whilst it is in the cutting device.
