PURPOSE: An auxiliary diesel power testing apparatus is provided to reduce damages of components and costs, while shortening the exchange cycle. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary diesel power testing apparatus comprises a base(10); a diesel engine(20) of a series hybrid electric vehicle mounted on the base; an engine controller(31) connected to the diesel engine so as to control the diesel engine; a generator mounted on the base and connected to the diesel engine; a generator controller(41) for controlling the generator and changing values of an accelerator position sensor(51) of the series hybrid electric vehicle; a power supply(61) connected to the generator controller; a fuel tank(62) connected to the diesel engine so as to supply a fuel to the diesel engine; an engine cooler arranged in the diesel engine so as to cool the diesel engine; a monitoring system for monitoring operations of the diesel engine and the generator controller; an emulator test module(63) connected to the engine controller so as to check the operation of the diesel engine; and a computer(64) connected to the emulator test module, wherein the computer processes data received from the emulator test module.
