STRUCTURE FOR SUPPLYING OIL OF CYLINDER HEAD OF ENGINE

PURPOSE: A structure for supplying oil of a cylinder head of an engine is provided to smoothly supply cylinder head lubricant and variable valve timing unit actuating oil, and to allow components of the variable valve timing unit to be easily mounted and maintained. CONSTITUTION: A structure includes an oil chamber(7) formed on a lower part of a cylinder head(3) to contact with an upper part of a cylinder block(1), and supplied with oil from a main oil gallery(5); a cam shaft journal oil channel(9) branched from the oil chamber for lubrication of cam shaft journals(33); an intake side oil supply channel(11) branched from the oil chamber for actuation of an intake side variable valve timing unit; and an exhaust side oil supply channel(13) branched from the oil chamber for actuation of an exhaust side variable valve timing unit. The oil chamber is a long groove formed along longitudinal direction of the cylinder head, and has a contraction part formed on a center thereof.
