PURPOSE: A cable protecting pipe and a method and apparatus for forming the same are provided to protect a plurality of cables by using a single cable protecting pipe, while allowing for ease of cable burying work. CONSTITUTION: A cable protecting pipe comprises a main body(10) having semi-circular grooves(12,14) formed at both sides of the main body; a first cover(20) coupled to the main body in such a manner that the first cover covers one side of the main body, wherein the first cover has semi-circular grooves(22) corresponding to the semi-circular grooves formed at one side of the main body; and a second cover(30) coupled to the main body in such a manner that the second cover covers the other side of the main body, wherein the second cover has semi-circular grooves(32) corresponding to the semi-circular groove formed at the other side of the main body. A first cable is buried in the space formed between the main body and the first cover, and a second cable is buried in the space formed between the main body the second cover.
