CHRONOGRAPH CONNECTING MECHANISM FOR COMPENSATING PERMISSIBLE ERROR IN MANUFACTURING

PURPOSE: A chronograph connecting mechanism is provided to cut down manufacturing cost by compensating the manufacturing permissible error on a connecting spring, a disk spring and a cam with an adjusting plate in changing the cam screw. CONSTITUTION: A connecting wheel(17) is contacted to a second wheel(19), and separated from the second wheel by controlling axial movement of the connecting wheel with a fork(16). The fork is operated by a control lever(10) of a chronograph connecting mechanism. An L-shaped connecting spring(20) is articulated on the connecting portion of arms(22) on a tool plate or an adjusting plate, and operated independently of the control lever. The long arm of the connecting spring is composed of the fork, and the short arm is operated by the end of the control lever.
