PURPOSE: A proton exchange polymer composition which has significantly reduced methanol cross-over, while maintaining its electrochemical properties such as ion-conductivity, thermal stability and mechanical properties, compared to conventional nafion, is provided with reduced cost. CONSTITUTION: The proton exchange polymer composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a PVDF-HFP copolymer, 30-200 pts.wt. of a proton exchange resin, and further 5-10 pts.wt. of hydrophilic polymer. The composition can be provided to prepare a proton exchange polymer membrane, and the membrane can be further provided to prepare a fuel cell. |
