PURPOSE: A strip edge scrap coiling apparatus is provided which removes scrap more easily by removing the coiled scrap of the edge of the strip after coiling scrap of the edge of strip produced in the production process of products having rated dimensions in a continuous annealing line of cold rolling plant. CONSTITUTION: In an apparatus for removing the coiled scrap by coiling a band shaped scrap continuously generated after cutting the side of strip(9) in the cold rolling process, the strip edge scrap coiling apparatus comprises a coiling part comprising a coiling reel(47) on which a groove is formed so that the scrap(8) is penetratingly inserted into the groove, and a driving unit for rotating the coiling reel to coil the scrap as rotating the coiling reel through the driving unit after the scrap is inserted into the coiling reel; and a driving part comprising a circular base(30) on which the coiling part is mounted, which is rotationally installed, and on the side surface of which a gear(29) is formed, a driving unit on which a small gear engaged with the gear of the base is mounted, and which rotates the base to a certain angle, and a position fixing cylinder(19) for inserting an end of cylinder rod into a fixed groove formed on the side surface of the base to fix the base at a certain position, the apparatus further comprises a supporting roller(16) installed between a cutting portion of the strip and the coiling reel to support the cut scrap transferred to the coiling reel, and wherein the coiling part further comprises a stopper.
