PURPOSE: A telephone having dials formed in intaglio or embossment is provided so that visually handicapped person dial a telephone number by only the touch of hand by forming numbers or characters expressed on the dials as the intaglio or the embossment. CONSTITUTION: A telephone has a body(1), a plurality of abbreviated dials(5) installed in an upper surface of the body(1), and a transceiver(2) connected to the body(1) by a wire(3). Various numbers or characters are formed as intaglio(4a) or embossment on surfaces of dials(4). At least one or more abbreviated dials(5) are formed at one side of an upper surface of the body(1). Various characters or numbers are expressed as intaglio(5a) or embossment on surfaces of the abbreviated dials(5).
