PURPOSE: A method for designing a windshield wiper linkage of a car is provided to design/output the windshield wiper linkage satisfying a system function in a 3D(Dimensional) screen by confirming a performance curve of the system in real-time while directly inputting/drawing a related parameter on a CATIA(Computer-graphics Aided 3D Interactive Application) screen. CONSTITUTION: An initial area is fixed by inputting a glass related parameter value for a windshield wiper(S110). A visible area is fixed on a fixed glass(S120). An area of a wiping pattern within the fixed visible area is calculated/extracted(S130). Inputting a parameter value of car specification, an FMVSS (Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard)-104 area, a wiping are, a wiper pattern, and a pivot position are extracted/displayed(S140). According to the parameter value related to the windshield wiper linkage based on the pivot position, a real component design drawing fixing a linkage area is operated/output(S150). An operation area of the windshield wiper linkage is drawn according to the parameter value related to the linkage design(S160). The designed pattern and the related parameter value are output(S170).
