PURPOSE: To simplify an operation for replacing a torch by detecting a cutting torch or a welding torch and thereby performing machining coincident with the torch thus detected. CONSTITUTION: Pins 112, 142 for discriminating the kind of torch are attached above each torch 110, 140. The pin 112 for discriminating a cutting torch 110 is positioned oppositely to a pin inserting hole 82, and the pin 142 for discriminating a welding torch 140 is positioned oppositely to a pin inserting hole 86. Proximity switches 84, 88 adjacent to the pin inserting holes 82, 86 are fixed with a bracket 85, with the output of these switches made switchable by the presence/ absence of the pins 112, 142 inserted in these holes 82, 86. If the pin 112 is detected by the proximity switch 84, the cutting torch 110 is attached to a combination head 66, and if the pin 142 is detected by the proximity switch 88, the welding torch 140 is attached to the combination head 66. |
