PURPOSE:To provide an automatic player in which the range of performance information that is to be quantized is arbitrarily specified and a desired modification is conducted for the time data of the performance information. CONSTITUTION:This player is provided with a ROM 106 which stores various programs, a display section 107 which displays music data stored in a music data RAM 102 and a switching section 103 which has various switches to specify the range in that quantization processes are executed. A CPU 105 moves a cursor for every performance unit against the musical data displayed on the section 107 in accordance with the user's operations made on the prescribed switches of the section 103, the quantization process range is confirmed by the position of the performance unit in which the cursor is displayed and time data are modified against the performance unit within the confirmed range so that time intervals of sound starting time in the range are made uniform. |
