PURPOSE: To prevent a seat belt from drawing out by the tight winding of the seat belt wound around a reel of an emergency lock tractor by detecting large acceleration of a vehicle, receiving the detection signal, and acting a clamp mechanism in the sandwiching direction of the seat belt. CONSTITUTION: When large acceleration such as collision is applied on a vehicle, G sensor, which is an emergency detection means, acts so as to detect acceleration, receives the detection signal, and sandwiches a seat belt 14 between a clamp arm 32 and a clamp receive piece 33 by rotation of a motor 36 irrelevant to an emergency action of a lock tractor at emergency. Tensile force in the drawing direction applied on the seat belt 14 is born by this sandwich force so that the seat belt 14 wound around a reel 5 is prevented from drawn out beforehand by tightly wound up. This constitution can improve restraint performance of the seat belt 14, freely draw out the seat belt 14, and facilitate escape from the vehicle. |
