FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: invention, in particular, relates to recovering lithium from fluorine-containing mica concentrates and comprises defluorination of concentrates accomplished by activation with electromagnetic pulses in microwave frequency range (at frequency 2450 MHz) in air atmosphere, effect duration time being 30 min. Then follows caking with uptake of 0.8 wt parts of lime and 0.75 wt parts of gypsum per 1 wt part of concentrate. Caking is carried out for 2 h at 750-800 C. EFFECT: improved technical and economical characteristics due to increased nickel recovery, reduced reagent consumption, and lowered temperature. 3 cl, 3 tbl |
