FIELD: rescue equipment for evacuation of people from buildings. SUBSTANCE: rescue apparatus has case rigidly fixed on immovable shaft and braking mechanism. Drum is positioned for rotation inside case so as to define closed cavity filled with liquid. Power cable is wound onto drum. Braking mechanism is made in the form of main disks placed inside closed cavity and rigidly fixed on immovable shaft. Additional disk is secured on drum inner surface between main disks. Openings are formed in disk rigidly secured on drum surface. EFFECT: simplified construction and increased efficiency in braking rotational motion of drum. 3 cl, 4 dwg |
