The lift raising system comprises a hydraulic actuator (1) connected to on-board hydraulic machinery (4) acting on a tackle block which displaces the lift cabin (5). The hydraulic actuator is fixed to the machinery located under the cabin. The pump motor unit (55), the pressure accumulator (44), the control cabinet (41), the operating cabinet (47) and the handling hooks (45) are all accessible from inside the cabin.
