PURPOSE: A brake system of a vehicle with an anti-blocking system is provided to generate auxiliary brake pressure by boosting brake pressure with a booster in starting normally and driving an oil compression pump in proportion to the operation distance of a brake pedal in stopping the engine. CONSTITUTION: A brake system comprises a brake pedal(21), a brake booster(22), a master cylinder(23), valve units(27,27',28,28'), brake wheel cylinders(26,26'), an oil compression pump(30), a low pressure accumulator(29), a high pressure accumulator(32), an engine starting detecting unit(17) checking starting of the engine, a brake operation detecting unit(16) detecting the operation state of the brake, and an ABS electronic control unit(33) driving the oil compression pump in checking the engine stop by the engine starting detecting unit and detecting the operation of the brake by the brake operation detecting unit. The brake operation detecting unit continuously detects the brake pedal operation by a varistor(37).
