PURPOSE: An unmanned article lending machine and a method for lending and returning articles using the same are provided to perform a user authorization method simply and effectively, using a CID(Calling Identification Display) service. CONSTITUTION: The unmanned article lending machine lends and receives articles. A mobile communication terminal(11-3) transmits and receives short message sentence(SMS) with a user(15) and a central server(12). A front plate(90) comprises a coin identifier(18) identifying coins inserted by a user, and a keypad(21) receiving characters inputted by the user, and a printer(19) performing print outputting with a paper, and a monitor(20) performing screen outputting. A central controller(16) transmits and receives data using the mobile communication terminal, and reads data from the from the front plate and outputs a message, and transmits a lend command to a lending cell(70), and receives state information of the lending cell, and manages articles and users using its own database. A number of lending cells(70) lends articles by receiving the lending command from the central controller, and informs the lending result and the existence of articles to the central controller, and receives the lent articles, and informs a peculiar serial number of the articles to the central controller. And bar codes are printed in a number of articles. |
