Production of a concentrate based on marine organisms comprises rearing larvae, harvesting the larvae at the trochophore stage, and packaging the larvae. Independent claims are also included for: (1) apparatus for carrying out the above process, comprising a maturing tank for receiving fertilized oocytes and a rearing medium, heating means, means for sterilization and stirring means; (2) a concentrate comprising isolated larvae of marine organisms in the trochophore stage.
