PURPOSE: An adhesion binder and a nonwoven web are provided, to improve the adhesion between a binder and an absorbent in a nonwoven web by using an adhesion-giving agent. CONSTITUTION: The adhesion binder comprises a binder fiber mixture containing a low melting point base and an adhesion-giving agent, wherein the low melting point base is a low melting point polymer fiber, a low melting point moiety of different fibers or their mixture. The nonwoven web comprises a binder fiber and an absorbent, wherein the binder fiber comprises an adhesion-giving agent and a low melting point base which is a low melting point polymer fiber, a low melting point moiety of different fiber or their mixture. Preferably the adhesion-giving agent is selected from pine resin, pine resin esters, terpene-based compounds, piperylene-based compounds and hydrocarbon-based compounds; and the low melting point base is selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutylene, polyester, copolyester or their mixtures. |
