PURPOSE: Microorganisms for production of polyhydroxyalkanoate are provided. The microorganisms accumulate polyhydroxyalkanoate in their biomass, so that polyhydroxyalkanoate being useful as a function polymer can be produced in higher purity and yield. CONSTITUTION: The microorganisms for production of polyhydroxyalkanoate of the formula of AmB(1-m) are Pseudomonas cichorii H45(FERM BP-7374), Pseudomonas cichorii YN2(FERM BP-7375), Pseudomonas putida P91(FERM BP-7373) and Pseudomonas jessenii P161(FERM BP-7376), wherein A is a group of the formula(2); B is at least one group selected from the formula(3) or the formula(4); n is an integer of 0 to 10; k is 3 or 5; R is at least one group selected from the formula(5) to the formula(7); R1 is selected from hydrogen, halogen, -CN, -NO2, -CF3, -C2F5 and -C3F7; q is an integer of 1 to 8; R2 is selected from hydrogen, halogen, -CN, -NO2, -CF3, -C2F5 and -C3F7; R is an integer of 1 to 8; R3 is selected from hydrogen, halogen, -CN, -NO2, -CF3, -C2F5 and -C3F7; and s is an integer of 1 to 8.
