PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new signal converting element using a protein motor. SOLUTION: This signal converting element is equipped with a 1st substrate (2) which is connected to a movable member (1), a 2nd substrate (3) which faces the 1st substrate, a 1st protein motor group (4) which is fixed to the 1st substrate, a 2nd protein motor group (5) which is fixed to the 2nd substrate, and a protein filament (6) which connects one protein motor of the 1st protein motor group to one protein motor of the 2nd protein motor group.
