PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel which is equipped with a lens extension mechanism by a helicoid screw and can be mounted even on an electronic camera. SOLUTION: A 1st helicoid part 16 which threadably feed a moving frame 12 through a specified lead is provided at the rear half part of the internal surface of a fixed frame 11 and a 2nd helicoid member 17 which allows the moving frame 12 to rotate without threadable feeding is provided at the front half part; and the moving frame 12 is moved through threadable feeding of the 1st helicoid member 16 between a storage position and a photographable position, where the moving frame 12 is rotated by the 2nd helicoid member 17 for zooming.
