PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable installation in narrow location and improve work environment of balance test. SOLUTION: The vertical type balancer 10 is provided with a putting-on and removing part 1 which moves in any one direction of vertical direction, fixes a device W under test, moves in the other direction of the vertical direction, and relieves the device W from the fixed state, and a means 2 of movement for moving the putting-on and removing part 1. The means 2 of movement is provided with a drive 21 for performing rotation drive by an electric power source, and power transmission mechanism 22 for transferring rotation drive power of the drive 21 to the putting-on and removing part 1.
