PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gamma control circuit of a high versatility capable of adjusting gamma control characteristics in a wide range. SOLUTION: Each gamma characteristics adjustment unit 21(1) to 21(n) of the gamma control circuit 10 selects a standard voltage from basic voltages generated by a standard voltage generating circuit 11 based on control adjustment data AD, and selects a standard voltage output terminal from among standard voltage output terminal candidates of a gamma control resistance circuit 13 as an output end of the standard voltage. Like this, a double adjustment is possible with a two-step selection, so that it is possible to widen an adjustment range of the gamma control characteristics. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
