PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination mechanism of an operation panel device capable of preventing infiltration of foreign matters and soldering cracks concerned about at fitting of a lamp. SOLUTION: An escape hole 11 larger than an outline of the lamp 10 is set in boring on a first circuit board 6 fitted inside a case 2, a second circuit board 7 is arranged in opposition on a rear face of the first circuit board 6 with a given interval, and the first and the second circuit boards 6, 7 are connected with an interposition of a flexible cable 8. Then, the second circuit board 7 is drawn outside as it is connected to the first circuit board 6 through the flexible cable 8, is made to turn so as to oppose the first circuit board with the flexible cable as a fulcrum, whereby, the lamp 10 is made to oppose a rear face of an operation knob 4 through the escape hole 11.
