PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make fine adjustment of output voltage slope of a bandgap reference circuit to the temperature possible and to make reduction of layout area possible. SOLUTION: The bandgap reference circuit has a bandgap voltage generation part 1 constituted of a transistor Q1 on the side where an emitter area is small and a transistor Q2 on the side where the emitter area is large and generates bandgap voltage, a slope adjustment part 2 consisting of a resistor R3 connected between the emitter and the output end Vref1 of the transistor Q1, a resistor R1 connected to the emitter of the transistor Q2 and a resistor R2 connected between the resistor R1 and the side of the output end Vref1 of the resistor R3 and adjusts the output voltage slope of the bandgap voltage generation part 1 to the temperature, and a feedback part 3 which controls voltage of a connection point C between the resistors R2, R3 so that potential of a connection point A between the resistors R1, R2 equals to potential of a connection point B between the transistor Q1 and the resistor R3. The output voltage slope of the bandgap voltage generation part 1 to the temperature is adjusted by defining the resistor R3 as a variable resistor and adjusting a resistance value of the resistor R3.
