PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic inorganic/organic lamellar composite that has good moldability and good dispersibility and can be transformed at various temperatures near room temperature. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic lamellar alkylsiloxane expressed by general formula (RSi1+XO2+1.5X+0.5ZLZ)m(wherein R is an alkyl group; 0.5≤x≤2, 2≤m≤200, 0≤z) is obtained by reacting an alkylsilane compound expressed by general formula RSi(OL)3(wherein R is an alkyl group; L is H, Si or a group in which the OL group easily changes to an OH group in a solution or in a suspension), a silicon compound expressed by general formula Si(OM)4(wherein M is H, Si or a group in which the OL group easily changes to an OH group in a solution or in a suspension) with water in a solvent or in a dispersion medium.
