PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective band for cushioning which can be easily and quickly wound around or attached to an article to be protected, and in addition, does not slack even by vibrations or impacts during transport, and surely holds the attached position, and therefore, can prevent the article from being damaged and can prevent a partner object from being damaged at the time of transport and handling, and in addition, to provide a protective band for cushioning which can be surely and quickly fixed to a pallet or the like utilized at the time of transport as well. SOLUTION: The sheet on the side which comes into contact with the article when the article is wound is formed of an anti-slip material such as rubber or urethane so that this protective band 10 for cushioning may not be untied by slipping and idoling. Also, a hook and loop fastener 14 is attached onto the end part or in a vicinity of the end part of the protective band 10 for cushioning. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
