PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter cloth enabling an endless filter cloth to be produced with high working efficiency and a method for producing an endless filter cloth using the same. SOLUTION: The method for producing an endless filter cloth using a filter cloth of this invention comprises linking a first end 32 of a filter cloth main body 30 of a filter cloth 28 to a second end 34 by using a first linking member 36 fit to the first end 32 and a second linking member 52 fit to the second end 34, inserting a caul 62 into a bag section 38, placing a gap cover 48 on the upper side of the bag section, and pressing a joining device 66 toward the gap cover from the upper side of the caul. Since the bag section is formed at one end of the filter cloth to form a double-layer structure, an endless filter cloth can be efficiently produced by inserting the caul into the bag section and joining the gap cover with the joining device.
