PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extractor which can adapt to a foreign body to be extracted and its milieu, without affecting the extracting characteristics of the same. SOLUTION: In this surgical extractor, two or more wire loops (4) and (5) expand and form an earth-type meridian plane to elaborate at the outside of a distal end of a flexible pipe (2) a simplified earth-type and open-worked basket (7) which constitutes the capturing position, and the loops (4) and (5) become flat by receding at least partially in the distal end of the flexible tube (2) to constitute the extracting position. The wire loops (4) and (5) are slidably joined so that each loop can slide against the other loop in a limited range keeping at least approximately a rectangular crossing at a distal crossing point (8).
