The apparatus to increase perfusion in heart muscle tissue has an underpressure catheter (1), which is introduced into a major heart vein or coronary sinus. The leading end of the catheter is blunt, or is a jet head. The leading catheter end can be as a balloon, with a variable pressure against the vein wall. The underpressure is formed by pumps, with a pressure monitor and bottles to catch any extracted blood. |
