POWER SUPPLY CUT-OFF APPARATUS FOR PLC

PURPOSE: A power supply cut-off apparatus is provided to prevent damages of load by quickly cutting off the power supplied to the load upon occurrence of faults and failures of load driving elements. CONSTITUTION: A power supply cut-off apparatus comprises a plurality of load driving units(230-1 to 230-4) for controlling loads in accordance with load driving control signals; a load driving control unit(220) for outputting load driving control signals for controlling the load driving units in accordance with the value output from a CPU(210); a load driving element check unit(240) for detecting faults and failures by checking the load driving units; and a load power cut-off unit(260) for cutting off the power being supplied to the load connected to the corresponding load driving unit when the load driving element check unit detects faults and failures of any of the load driving units.
