PURPOSE: A method for tracking a position of a mobile communication terminal is provided to measure a time difference between a GPS signal and a CDMA signal when the GPS and CDMA signals arrive at a modem chip by using a GPS common antenna, and to compensate for time delay, thereby tracking an exact position of a mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A system connects a GPS signal generator of a mobile communication terminal and a mobile communication base station tester with a connector of a shield box, and connects a CDMA antenna and a GPS common antenna with the connector of the shield box, respectively. The system generates a satellite signal with the GPS signal generator, sets a specific channel frequency with the base station tester, and generates a signal. The system measures a time difference between the satellite signal and the specific channel frequency signal when the signals arrive at a modem, and stores delay data in a memory. The system tracks a position of the mobile communication terminal through the stored data.
