<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable diversified printing by setting up a printing attribute on a section by section basis for a printed document on a printer driver without depending on a printing attribute setting function on the section by section basis available on an application program. <P>SOLUTION: A setting function part 22 for printing information for the printed document on the section by section basis is arranged on a printing setting part 21 for a printer driver 20 of a host computer 10, and the printing information on the section by section basis is stored on a section setting information file 34 of a hard disc 30. When a section delimiter for the printed document is detected by a section delimiter detection function part 25 of a printing data generation part 24, the setting information for the section stored by a setting information reading function part 26 is read, and a setting command for controlling a printer 40 is generated by a setting command generation part 27 based on the setting information read above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
