MAGNETIC SUBSTANCE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND MAGNETIC DEVICE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic substance using a non-magnetic material that exhibits ferromagnetism even at room temperature, magnetic devices using the same, and a method of manufacturing the magnetic substance.

SOLUTION: The magnetic substance is composed of a non-magnetic material which is provided with a plurality of localized electron regions in each of which at least one electron is confined to form a localized spin, a barrier potential region having an energy higher than the Fermi energy of the electrons of the localized electron regions to confine electron in each of the localized electron regions, and a conduction electron region composed of a conduction electron system having energy lower than that of the barrier potential region. The localized electron regions are so arranged as to be mutually isolated via the barrier potential region and the conduction electron region.
