<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a post treatment means and an image forming apparatus which can maintain cutting ability in spite of use over time and can provide beautiful frameless images. <P>SOLUTION: The post treatment apparatus is provided with heat fixing means 15 and 101 for thermally fusing and fixing toners 49 made of a heat softening resin and are held on a recording sheet 18, a cutting means 103 for cutting the recording sheet holding the toners fixed by the heat fixing means 15 and 101 and a cooling means 46 for cooling the recording sheet after fixing and before cutting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
