<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding device of a stable folding position provided with a center folding part precluded from being hardly dispersed by firmness of a paper sheet (recording paper sheet) in center folding, and being hardly slipped under a knife operation. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pair of folding roller for forming a fold for the sheet by mutual pressing force, a chopper knife for pushing the sheet in between the rollers, and a pinch roller contacting separably with the under side folding roller out of the paired folding rollers. The device is provided with the center folding part for sandwiching the sheet by the pinch roller, for operating the chopper knife under the condition where the sheet is sandwiched, and for pushing the sheet into a folding roller nip formed by the pair of folding rollers to form the fold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
