<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method with which metal-containing dust collected with a wet-type dust collector from gas produced from a blast furnace can efficiently be dried at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: This drying method is performed with which carbon content in this metal-containing dust is burnt by realizing high temperature exhaust gas in a pretreating facility for molten iron and also, after drying this metal-containing dust, the carbon is recovered together with the pretreated dust in the molten iron. In this way, the dust can again be used as a resourse and further, combustion heat of the carbon content can efficiently be recovered and utilized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
