摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high efficiency of the whole of quenching evaluation by allowing measurement of quench depth regarding not only a columnar part and a cylindrical part but also a round part and a spline part and allowing measurement of quenched surface hardness at the measurement of the quench depth. <P>SOLUTION: In the non-destructive measurement method, a detection coil 24 is inserted and disposed at a desired position of a shaft-like object to be measured 21a and an excitation coil 23 is inserted and disposed at a position adjacent to the detection coil 24 of the object 21a to be measured. When an excitation A.C. voltage signal V1 is applied to the excitation coil 23, size of the detection signal V2 obtained from the detection coil 24 and a difference of phaseψwith the excitation A.C. voltage signal V1 are detected to measure the quenched surface hardness and the quench depth at the desired position. If the detection coil 24 can be disposed, the round and the spline part can be measured and the quench depth and the surface hardness can be measured by a common device configuration in one measurement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p>
