<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP allocation method for connecting to the Internet one IP address (IPA) shared by a plurality of hosts in a local network. <P>SOLUTION: An Internet service provider (ISP), a DHCP client, an HAPT module, a local access point and a DHCP server spoofer are provided. The ISP is provided with a DHCP server for assigning IPA to an Internet access gateway and the hosts requesting IP address assignments. The DHCP client is assigned with an IPA through DHCP message communication. The HAPT module changes a source MAC address and the port number of a frame received from each host, stores change information in an HAPT table, and changes a destination MAC address and the port number of a frame received from the ISP by referring to the HAPT table. A local access point is provided with an LIAT module for preventing collisions of data. The DHCP server spoofer assigns an IPA to each host. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
