<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle dispersed system resin sheet for forming thin, light-weight, strong and hard-to-break substrates for various kinds of image display devices or the like such as a liquid crystal cell substrate and the substrate for an organic EL display device having a light diffusing function of preventing glaring due to illumination light and a back light incorporated in a liquid crystal display device, and to provide the image display device using it. <P>SOLUTION: The particle dispersed system resin sheet is provided with at least an epoxy resin layer (1) containing epoxy resin having bisphenol S type build and a light diffusing agent whose refractive index is different from the one of the epoxy resin and the light diffusing agent is unevenly distributed with concentration distribution in the thickness direction of the epoxy resin layer. Since heat resistance and strength are excellently balanced and light transmittance is high, it is preferably used as substrates for various kinds of image display devices or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
