PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video camera such that a main body support part of a video camera main body can tightly be gripped in any photographic posture. SOLUTION: One end part 50a of a strap member mount lever 50 is moved along a 1st lever movement hole 8 of the main body support member 2 according to differences in photographic posture to displace the position of the other end side 30b of a strap member 30 which is fitted to the main body support part 2 between a position which is below the reverse surface 7 of the main body support part 2 and does not project from a flank 4 and a position which is sideward from the flank 4 of the main body support part 2 and does not project downward. Consequently, while the palm is applied to the front 5 of the main body support 2 and the fingers other than the thumb are put on the main body support part 2, the strap member 30 is extended over the back of the hand through between the thumb and index finger of the hand.
