PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device that secures coupling strength in pressing the flange of a developing roller into a nonmagnetic sleeve and suppressing a toner leakage from the end of the developing roller. SOLUTION: The developing device 1 equipped with a magnet roller 4, a nonmagnetic sleeve 3 which is provided rotatably at its outer circumference, and a developing roller 2 having a driving-side shaft 5 with a flange 6 transmitting a driving force to the end of the nonmagnetic sleeve 3 is characterized in that the driving-side shaft 5 and nonmagnetic sleeve 3 are coupled by pressing the driving-side shaft 5 in the nonmagnetic sleeve 3 and a ring 10 is fitted to the outer circumference of the nonmagnetic sleeve 3 at the pressing-in part.
