PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop a pump performing constant delivery pressure control in short time after the use of water is completed without using a flow switch and a flow sensor and without causing a variation in delivery pressure. SOLUTION: This pump control method controls a pump comprising a pressure sensor 4 detecting pump delivery pressure, a rotational speed sensor detecting pump rotational speed, and a control part 20 increasing and decreasing the pump rotational speed according to the detected pump delivery pressure to perform the constant delivery pressure control maintaining the pump delivery pressure in a predetermined pressure range. During the operation by the constant delivery pressure control, a time in which the pump rotational speed is continuously the same is measured, and when the time becomes longer than the predetermined time, the pump rotational speed at that time is stored as a first rotational speed. After the first rotational speed is stored, when the pump rotational speed is lowered by a predetermined rotational speed or more from the first rotational speed, the necessity of the stopping of the pump is determined by using either or both of the outputs from the pressure sensor and the rotational speed sensor.
