PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Stirling engine capable of preventing workability in assembling and disassembling from being impaired, increasing the efficiency and reliability of operation, and extending the life of operation. SOLUTION: This Stirling engine A comprises a pressure vessel 1 in which working gas is sealed, a cylinder 2 fixed to the inside of the pressure vessel 1, a power piston 3 disposed in the cylinder 2, and a displacer 4a disposed in the cylinder 2 coaxially with the power piston 3. The displacer 4a comprises a displacer piston 41a slidably moving in the cylinder 2 and a rod 42a fixedly connected to the displacer piston 41a and passed through a slidable movement hole 31 formed at the center of the power piston 3.
