METALLIC COLUMN STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce energy loss of an air conditioner and effectively adjust the indoor temperature and prevent the surface of the columns in a building from sweating on the surface. SOLUTION: A first heat insulation material 28 is interposed between the fitting part 26 of the column base piece 14 fixed onto a foundation 16 and the column 12 to prevent or inhibit heat transmission between the column 12 and the column base piece 14, and a second heat insulation material 30 is interposed between the column base 18 and the lower end face of the column lower part 12a. Thereby, heat from the in-between of the outside air and the foundation 16 is transmitted into the indoor side through the column 12 from the column base piece 14, and the indoor heat transfers from the column 12 to the column base piece 14 to respectively prevent or inhibit the dissipate the heat to the outside air and the foundation 16 side.
